The number of businesses on Instagram has grown to a huge 25 million; the majority of which are small businesses. This is a figure that has increased by 15 million in the last 6 months.
Approximately 800 million people use Instagram each month, for discovering new businesses and people to connect with. Over 80% of Instagram accounts follow businesses, with 200 million users visiting businesses’ profiles on a daily basis. Thanks to this, small businesses are finding new avenues through social media to help them grow and engage with their customer base.
